To get the most out of this program you should ask your doctor to prescribe a drug within the first three tiers if possible. Often times drugs within the same therapeutic class can be prescribed in place of an expensive brand name drug. If you choose a higher priced brand name drug there is a discount available. This program is accepted at over 75% of pharmacies nationwide. Discounts also apply to drugs not listed in one of the following tiers as well as maintenance medications purchased through the mail order program.
